The new PF100CP stainless steel diaphragm pressure gauge is specially designed for application in hygienic processes. It is a compact measuring instrument with a front diaphragm and a clamp connection. It uses a dry measuring cell without a transmission liquid; in the case of damage, the medium to be measured is in no way polluted. The parts coming into contact with the medium are made of stainless steel 1.4571. The process chamber is completely sealed by means of weld seams - typically weak components, such as O-rings - are not used. The pressure gauge is CIP/SIP-capable. The quick-action clamp connection ensures direct and fast mounting to the process connection.
Measuring ranges from 0 to 100 kPa up to 0 to 600 kPa are available in accuracy class 1.6 (EN 837-3/6). The optimised flange design assures reduced weight and also reduces the space requirements at the installation site. The compact design also contributes to the price/performance ratio. The device is also available with optional contacts for switching or controlling tasks.
Applications have included paint and lacquer applications, in the food industry and in dairy plants and breweries. It is also suitable for biotechnological and pharmaceutical applications.
