Laser sensors in M12 metal housings

ASSTech Process Electronics & Instrumentation is offering Wenglor's M12 sensors in metal housings with adjustable background suppression, a switching distance of 100 mm and visible red light. The metal housing units include the following models:

* A diffuse laser light sensor, YO11 offers an adjustable switching distance of 100 mm, a spot diameter of <1 mm and a small hysteresis. This unit accurately detects the smallest difference in height almost independently of surface characteristics.

* The Wenglor retro-reflective laser light barriers are small in design but have a working range of 6 m. With a switching frequency of 3 kHz, high-speed processes and objects of over 2 mm across can be monitored.

Through beam sensors with a working range of 20 mm recognise small parts of 50 mm. The focal point can be user-adjusted to the respective application.
