All-in-one lightning and surge protection solution

The DEHNventil TT SABS approved, all-in-one lightning current and surge arrester from Surge Technology is easily installed in different types of power supply systems, TNS, TN-C-S and TT systems, providing the same level of protection where previously up to 20 separate devices had to be installed and interconnected.
Compact in design, the unit requires only 30% of the space of similar devices and no de-coupling inductance coils are necessary between the arresters. Even in the event of a direct lightning strike with an intensity of 200 kA (10/350 µs) to a building with external lightning protection, the system is protected in terms of SABS IEC 1024-1 requirements.
The dual input terminals allow the voltage to be greatly reduced by as much as 2000 V, for load currents less or equal to 125 A. The additional bus bar terminal at the output increases the combination possibilities with other DIN rail mounted devices.
By using the encapsulated spark gap technology, safety distances to adjacent components within the distribution cabinet are unnecessary. Even at fault currents up to 25 kA r.m.s., a 35 A breaker will not trip when it extinguishes the follow-on current. Visual fault indication is provided, or if required, the optional DEHNsignal DV remote monitoring module informs the user on the state of the protection, even when not physically on site. DEHNventil TT is compatible with other surge arresters in the DEHN (RED/LINE) family.
