The new radar gauge Micropilot S from Endress+Hauser meets all the requirements of a custody transfer level radar. The company believes that until now, a mm-gauge could not be operated as a cost-effective standalone device, as well as integrated into a tank gauging system.
Micropilot S offers a complete antenna programme. Horn antenna, parabolic antenna or rod antenna with measurement ranges up to 40 m may be used for free space measurement. For applications in stilling wells, a special planar antenna has been developed. This can be used as a retrofit of mechanical systems without additional expense even in tapered stilling wells.
The device was developed in accordance with existing international standards of custody transfer or inventory control measurements, such as API 3.1B and OIML R85. For each device a calibration report documents individual measurement accuracy over the entire measurement range. On demand, custody transfer certificates of NMi and PTB are delivered.
Difficult commissioning and maintenance are a thing of the past. With a 4-line text display and the ToF Tool, easy step-by-step commissioning and analysis is now standard.
