Developed for use in a wide range of applications including pumps, fans, motors and turbines, the MTN410 is a full self-contained, battery powered unit, with unique features designed to benefit the most demanding applications.
Monitran's MTN410 requires no external power source or wiring, making it suitable for condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, short-term maintenance and trouble shooting in the remotest of locations. A sharp tap is all that is needed to turn the unit on, whilst a lithium manganese battery gives a typical operating life of five years (depending on conditions), with the indicator reverting to 'sleep' automatically after one minute, further extending battery life.
Another important feature of the MTN410 is an integral LCD, allowing on-site engineers to assess the status of the equipment being monitored, without the need for additional instruments. The unit is accurate, as it is based on a proven accelerometer technology, and uses a micro-controller to process and display signals. The MTN410 has a displayed velocity range of 0-99 mm/s RMS, a measurement bandwidth of 6 Hz to 1 kHz, a temperature range of -20 to +85°C, and conforms to international standards.
The MTN410 has a robust stainless-steel construction and features a variable position-mounting unit, designed to be installed on any plane, making it quick and easy to attach the sensor to the equipment being monitored, and provide a clear view of the LCD.
