Certain of the older type of Bently Nevada proximity probes are (or have been) phased out. Metrix Instrument, locally represented by PREI Instrumentation, is now producing direct replacement probes for the Bently Nevada series 3000, 3300 and 7200 probes. All Metrix proximity probes have ATEX certification.
Instead of having to upgrade their whole Bently Nevada vibration monitoring system when probes break, users can now save considerable expense by merely replacing the faulty probes with the equivalent Metrix probes.
