Pressure transmitters with scaleable analog output

IFM Electronic has introduced a new range of pressure transmitters with a flush mountable connection for reliable signal processing in hygienic areas, viscous media and liquids with suspended particles. The type PL 2058 are more than just simple pressure transmitters, as their scalable 4 to 20 mA analog signal is freely adjustable within the normal pressure range.
Suitable for universal applications and with a measuring range of up to 2,5 MPa, the pressure sensors are designed to withstand high air humidity and aggressive cleaning agents. With their flexible mounting system and flush mountable connection, they provide residue-free cleaning and maintenance-free operation due to their ceramic measuring cell.
An optional programming tool provides fast and clear access to all sensor data. Just one press of the button and the parameter recipe is transferred to the sensor after connection. Even before connection to the sensor, all parameters can be selected, changed and stored in a computer.
The zero point shifting enhances the adaptability to the process; for example, a change can be effected in the static pressure within a tank without the need to reprogram the main process controller. The damping function can be used to filter pressure peaks.
The pressure sensors meet IP67 and CIP requirements and feature gold plated contacts, high-grade stainless steel and are EHEDG certified. The type PL2058 operates in a medium temperature from -25 to 80°C and are shock and vibration resistant.
