Pneumax Southern Africa on the move
May 2003
News
Having successfully operated for more than 15 years from its premises in Sebenza, Edenvale, Pneumax Southern Africa recently relocated to new premises in Aeroport, Spartan.
Pneumax celebrated this event by hosting a spitbraai for its customers. A marquee was set up in the company's entrance area and the complete product range was on display boards within. Customer turnout was very good and a satisfied Dave Williams, managing director, commented on the day being a great success.
Currently experiencing significant growth, Williams says that space had become a problem at the old premises. The new modern workshop allows for substantial stockholding facilities and houses a well-equipped workshop.
The premises also houses Pro-Flow, a division with 12 years' experience of supplying specialised orifice plates and other flow measurement and instrumentation equipment to the petrochemical industry. Pro-Flow's major customers include some of the biggest project houses in the country. In order to maintain the pace set by technology and customer demand, Pro-Flow has acquired various world-class agencies to complement their existing manufactured product range.
The Pneumax group remains dedicated to satisfying customer demands through providing new and innovative products. The company's extensive range of products includes the manufacture of pneumatic cylinders and pneumatic and electric actuators, flow-metering products, valves, push-in fittings and tubing, as well as the local manufacture of orifice plates.
Pneumax SA is the sole agent for Pneumax, ACL, CDC, Goyen Controls, and Omal Automation in southern Africa. Pro-Flow is the sole agent for Kytola and Kobold. Customer training has always played an integral and essential part of the company's success and will remain so at the new premises.
