DLM acquires Isoil agency

May 2003 News

Isoil Impianti, a subsidiary company of Gruppo Isoil, has awarded DLM the sole representation of its product range in southern Africa.

" 'The solutions that count' is the slogan that sums up our confidence in our products," says Tito Manto, international sales manager of Isoil Impianti.

"DLM is not known to just take on any agency; we investigate and evaluate every company that we approach or approaches us for a possible agency," remarks Barry Bamberger, managing director for DLM. "And in this case we were pleasantly surprised at Isoil Impianti's professional approach to the deal. Isoil have a lot to offer both in terms of product and experience.

Isoil Impianti designs, manufactures and commercialises instrumentation that is dedicated to the downstream market of the petrochemical and oil industry. Products include control valves, positive displacement meters, strainer air eliminators and accessories. Isoil Impianti also manufactures a range of electronic devices that are used at bulk loading facilities, such as: earthing monitors, badge readers and small terminal automation software.

The company has a full calibration facility in Albano, Italy. Isoil's testing facility is officially approved as SIT centre (Italian system of calibration equivalent to NAMAS) for positive displacement meter calibrations.

"Quality and professionalism cannot be made up, since they are the result of long experience. We want to grant our customers top quality and full safety," says Manto, "that is why we obtained the ISO 9001 Quality Certificate in 1993, which officially assures our customers we can offer reliability by means of a productive, organised and structural quality."

Isoil has also obtained approvals through SGS Redwood for all its master meters, which indicates the high quality of Isoil Impianti's equipment.
