The central control unit allows sophisticated monitoring and automation functions to be implemented. With stationary and mobile applications in the mechanical engineering field, WatchDog pro combines the flexibility of SPC with a robust monitoring system.
Thanks to the withstand voltage, clearances, creepage distances and rated surge voltage, it can perform under the harshest industrial conditions. The monitoring functions for current, voltage, phase sequence, phase failure, active power and temperature have been combined into an integrated, modular monitoring scheme for system applications. This has advantages from planning through power-on to plant expansion.
By combining all necessary monitoring and control functions WatchDog pro fully meets the requirements of an automation system. An integral component of the central control unit is the data-logger which allows plant and system data to be logged on a memory card and used for high speed evaluation. As part of the efficient maintenance management system, the interfaces (fieldbus, web server, SMS) allow simple remote maintenance as well as integration into a more comprehensive process control system.
