For good power supply design it is essential to understand the application and the environment in which it operates. With the introduction of the ZWS-BAF series of PCB-type AC-DC power supplies, TDK-Lambda has effectively improved the total performance of its previous generation ZWS-AF series. The improved heat dissipation of the new series provides a wider operating temperature range of -10 to +70°C. Efficiency of the ZWS150BAF-24 model is as high as 90%.

Offering advanced features such as active power factor correction and high input transient protection, the 100 W ZWS100BAF and 150 W ZWS150BAF series operate from a universal input of 85 to 265 V AC or 120-370 V DC to meet a wide range of applications. These include factory automation, test and measurement, and LED signage. Available with a choice of output voltages from 3,3 V to 48 V, each model in the series can be adjusted by up to 10% of its nominal voltage to accommodate non-standard system voltages.
