Wenglor’s safety technology product range includes a selection of new multibeam light arrays that provide body protection up to PL e for easy integration in the industrial workplace.
A barrier of separate light beams detect the entire body on entry to danger zones to protect persons who inadvertently enter no-go areas in proximity to palletising equipment, material feeding areas etc.
DIP switches assure easy configuration and can then be disabled with the help of freeware in order to safeguard the array against manipulation. The visible red beams allow for easy alignment without tools and make it easy to determine whether or not the array is active.
The system is supported by a comprehensive set of accessories, including adjustable protection columns and deflection mirrors, a relay unit, a laser alignment aid, mounting brackets and various connectors. Several arrays can be connected in cascade with only one receiver needing to be connected to the safety PLC, eliminating unnecessary inputs.
