SAIMC: SAIMC Secunda branch Ladies High Tea

December 2017 SAIMC

The Secunda branch held its annual high tea for women in the technical field, on Friday 13 October. Despite the very ‘unlucky’ date the event was a great success. This year we strived to involve more school girls in order to give them a sneak peak of what the control and instrumentation field is all about and to try and broaden their career path.

Renate Landman enlightened the ladies with her topic ‘When ‘bleep’ hits the fan! Addressing challenges, obstacles and failures, after which the ladies enjoyed a fun activity organic bath salt mixing by the company 4ganics. We would like to thank the following sponsors for their contributions towards the high tea function and their continuous support to the SAIMC Secunda branch:

• Proconics

• Yokogawa

• Lethabo Engineering

• DLM

• Beckhoff Automation
