The year drew to an end on a high note for the Vaal branch. There was good attendance at the last Technology Evening, which marked a turnaround strategy that has been implemented by the new committee to revamp the way we conduct business and be more visible with our work on the ground. The presenter, Jan Prinsloo from Aveng Manufacturing Automation & Control Solutions, did not disappoint with his presentation titled ‘Burner Management System Migration Considerations’. The subject aroused much interest from the audience who engaged with him through questions. It was a good discussion.
