Safety Integrity Level (SIL) is gaining increasing importance in the process industry. Jumo offers a comprehensive product portfolio in this arena with recent additions being the pressure transmitters of the dTRANS p20 series with HART protocol. Available from ASSTech Instrumentation, these Jumo pressure transmitters from the p20 series are universally suited for measuring pressure, differential pressure, level and flow. The devices are intrinsically safe and encapsulated so that they are pressure resistant. They combine ultimate precision with simple and convenient operation.
The device series has now been recertified by TÜV Nord according to current standard (DIN EN 61508/-1-2:2011 path classified as operationally tested, SIL-capable devices for safety equipment. In addition, they meet the latest directives on explosion protection and can be used in all zones up to zone 0.
The transmitters cover the complete industrial range between 5 mbar and 1000 bar. The extremely low linearity deviation of no more than 0,07% enables the measuring accuracy to meet the toughest requirements. A number of process connections that enable an optimal adjustment to the different applications are available.
