The Vaal branch, with the organising support of UpFront PR Management, hosted its first golf day last November, which enjoyed overwhelming support from local companies as well as many participants from other parts of Gauteng.
A total of 84 players took to the course at the Riviera Hotel and Country Club in a 4-ball alliance competition. The players represented companies such as Sasol, Natref, Yokogawa, Metso, Wika, Trigas Agencies, Elemental, Honeywell, Flowserve, Ernest Lowe, Proconics, Phoenix Contact, Extech and Atlas Industrial. Sponsors such as Proconics, WIKA, Ernest Lowe, Beckhoff Automation, Loadtech and Honeywell ensured the players received much appreciated refreshments and prizes on the day.
Chairman, Solly Mabitsela, voiced his appreciation to all at the afternoon’s prize giving ceremony, where the overall winning team for the day, Atlas Industrial Systems, was presented with the trophy sponsored by Ernest Lowe.
