Multifunction measuring tool for HVAC applications

French manufacturer Kimo’s latest offering is a new multifunction instrument, the AMI 300, a key measuring tool for all professionals in the HVAC industry.

The unit can measure up to six parameters simultaneously for pressure, temperature (RTD, thermocouple, NTC), humidity, air quality, air velocity and airflow, and tachometry. Some 12 000 values can be stored and then transferred to a PC through wireless communication. The AMI has a large 70 x 50 mm display (with bargraph) which allows quick reading of results and browsing is easy via a joystick on the keypad.

The wireless probes are supplied with a multifunction key to allow measurement and settings. A large choice of probes are available such as vanes with diameters of 14, 70 and 100 mm, high resistance gooseneck-shaped hotwire, CO/CO₂, multifunction, high temperature hygrometry, RTD, thermocouple etc.

The interchangeable measuring modules are individually calibrated and are automatically recognised by the instrument via the Smart-plus system. As example, the AMI can be equipped with several pressure measuring modules with different measuring ranges.
