On Wednesday, 20 January, ifm electronic South Africa held the official opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of its new corporate headquarters in Pretoria. The entire staff complement of ifm South Africa attended the event. Special guests included Michael Marhofer (chairman of ifm Group), Volker Jahns (ifm Germany), Lynn Jahns (ifm Germany) and Albert Meyer (ifm Namibia).

The modern customised building with 847 m² office space on two floor levels and a further 180 m² store in the basement is the new headquarters for 30 employees. The building, designed to allow for more efficient workflow and interaction amongst the staff, also has more than enough space for growth over the coming years.
