December 2015 Level Measurement & Control

The Liquipoint FTW33 from Endress+Hauser is a point level switch solution for liquids in the food and beverage industry. Part of a new product line, FTW33 complements the already launched Liquiphant FTL31 and FTL33. The new product line offers:

• Easy selection and installation.

• Distribution through Global E-direct Portal.

• Economical pricing.

• Fast delivery time due to global production and logistic concepts.

The Liquipoint FTW33 is a compact and flush-mounted point level switch for water and oil-based media. It meets all hygienic requirements and is intended for use in applications with pasty and sticky media. The active build-up compensation guarantees reliable switching, even if heavy contamination on the sensor occurs. No onsite calibration is required and the unit is installed without the need for any special tools.

Benefits:

• Perfect fit to the hygienic industry thanks to flush-mounted design, which allows pigging.

• Safe and reliable measurement due to active build-up compensation, ensuring reliable switching.

• No individual adjustment to each medium necessary.

• Easy installation thanks to compact design, even in tight conditions or where access is restricted.

• Broad range of process connections for installation in new and existing plants.

• CIP and SIP ensured up to protection class IP69k.

• LED display for on-site function check.

Technical details:

• Process temperature: -20 to 100°C, up to 150°C 1 hour.

• Process pressure: -1 to 25 bar (-14.5 to 362.5 psi).

• Sensor material: 316L/PEEK meets the requirements of EU 1935/2004, 10/2011 as well as 2023/2006 and FDA 21 CFR 177.2415.
