Four-channel analog output module

April 2015 System Integration & Control Systems Design

Jumo’s range of mTRON T measurement, control and automation systems now offer a new feature in the form of a four channel analog output. With its universal input/output modules and flexible connection technology, as well as communication, evaluation and automation software, the mTRON T can be used in a wide variety of industry applications.

The new output module includes four universal analog outputs for current and voltage. These can be configured to 0-10 V, 2-10 V, 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA signals. Special highlights include galvanic separation of the signals of the channels and separate adjustment options for each output. For example, this enables the configuration of one output at 0-10 V and three outputs at 4-20 mA. Output fault behaviour is also freely definable and configurable. The easy-to-use software and the multifunction panel can both be used to adjust the system.

The present I/O modules have been expanded to include the four-channel analog output module so that even greater scope of functionality can be guaranteed. No programming skills are necessary as these adjustments can be made through a setup program that includes integrated hardware recognition.
