Magnet has been appointed distributors in KwaZulu-Natal for Mitsubishi Electric’s factory automation products, which are designed for optimum productivity on the factory floor. “The portfolio of Mitsubishi Electric’s factory automation products, which includes a wide range of automation and processing technologies, enhances Magnet’s extensive range of electrical equipment, industrial instrumentation and automation systems,” says Brian Howarth, managing director of Magnet. “The addition of Mitsubishi Electric’s factory automation products will extend Magnet’s service to a broader customer base that includes automotive manufacturing, sugar mills, water and wastewater, chemicals and petrochemicals, as well as general engineering.”
These new Mitsubishi Electric’s factory automation products, available in KZN from Magnet, encompass Q-series modular programmable logic controllers, FX-series compact programmable logic controllers and variable speed drives. Magnet supports this range with a technical advisory, installation and maintenance service throughout KZN.
