Class 2 surge arrester

The SLP-275 V from Saltek is a reliable, single-pole Class 2 varistor-based surge arrester that protects against induced surge currents in installations in LV distributions at the boundary of LPZ 1 and LPZ 2 zones. The module guards against overvoltage effects induced during a lightning strike and switching overvoltages.

Operating on a 230 V AC nominal voltage, the module has a 40 kA (8/20 μs) maximum discharge current, a 25 ns response time and a -40 to 80°C temperature range. The SLP-275 V features a replaceable varistor module and has visual fault signalling. It meets EN61643-11 +A11 standards and IP20 protection requirements.
