Low profile 75 W power supply with PFC
December 2013
Electrical Power & Protection
After the launch of RSP-150 (150 W) series, Mean Well has extended its lower wattage models by the introduction of the RSP-75 series, the 75 W low profile enclosed type switching power supply with PFC function. The operating temperature range is t-25 to 70°C using free air convection cooling, and with high efficiency the RSP-75 series is especially suitable for end-users looking for economical power supplies with energy-saving, noise-free, and low-profile installation features.
Featuring 85–264 VAC universal input range, RSP-75 provides 3,3–48 V output voltage options. It is equipped with PFC functionality and possess up to 89% efficiency, allowing it to be cooled by free air convection from -25°C to 50°C ambient temperature under full load condition, and up to +70°C with suitable derating. Other built-in functions include remote on/off control, short circuit, overload and over-voltage protections. The supplies comply with global safety regulations per UL, CUL, TUV, CCC, CB, and CE and also have TUV EN61558-2-16 certification to fulfil the requirements of household electrical appliances. Applications include industrial automation system, mechanical and electrical equipment, household appliances, instruments, or any other systems that require 1U low-profile installations.
