Solex Thermal chooses unitemp as value partner in southern Africa

Solex Thermal Science is looking forward to a successful co-operation with unitemp in the southern African markets. Solex provides highly energy efficient solutions for cooling, heating and drying of bulk solids such as sugars, fertilisers, chemicals, plastics, minerals, oilseeds and other types of granules, crystals and powders.
In certain circumstances, material is hot coming out of a process and needs to be cooled before being handled or processed further. Often it needs to be cooled for safety reasons, but in other cases, the material needs to be heated or dried before being processed further.
Typical Solex solutions will heat the material using mediums such as steam, hot water, thermal oil, air and flue gas; cool it using water and air and dry it using oilseeds and grains together with cross flow air.
According to unitemp, it chose to represent Solex Thermal to clients in the sugar, fertiliser, minerals processing and plastics industries because it sees the benefits in the solutions. These include high energy efficiency, low installation cost, compact and modular design, minimal maintenance required and consistency in final product temperatures.
