Whether in industry or a water plant, knowing the exact flow rate in pipelines is becoming increasingly important, both for regulating processes and for metering water supplies. Endress+Hauser’s, Promag 10D/50D is a cost effective flowmeter that records flow in water pipelines. Due to the innovative housing design, the device can easily be installed at the exact centre of the pipeline.
Uses in the water and wastewater sector
Clean water is a scarce natural resource of growing significance. The versatile Promag D flow meter can be used for all standard tasks, such as measuring drinking water in distribution networks, in drinking water treatment or in sewage plants for process control.
Utilities are used by all industries to provide the power for the actual operation of a plant. To permit the associated energy costs to be attributed directly to a cost centre, and therefore to a product, the consumption level needs to be measured, e.g. of service water or cooling water. This makes it possible to optimise water consumption and to initiate appropriate water-saving measures. Benefits at a glance
* Compact, robust sensor for space-saving installation.
* High level of reliability in operation.
* Simple and precise centring in the pipeline thanks to the innovative housing design.
* Internationally recognised drinking water approvals.
* Stainless steel ground disks integrated as standard.
* Standardised operating and electronics concept.
The Promag D sensor can be combined with two different transmitters for signal evaluation. For basic applications, Promag 10 is the ideal solution; for standard applications with additional functionality, Promag 50 is the right choice. Both transmitters are available in compact designs or they can be installed in a separate location from the sensor.
