Sensors for level measurement of conductive liquids and pastes

ASSTech has introduced the new level sensor from Rechner to deal with the problems of conductive adhesive liquids and pastes, often a challenge for manufacturers of products such as vegetable oils, vinegar, syrup, mayonnaise, glues and mineral oils.
The LevelMaster replaces expensive and complex measuring systems with a capacitive unit designed for the detection of liquids with a dielectric constant greater than 1,25. The active surface of the sensor (PEEK tip) is totally immersed in the product.
The LevelMaster Sensors are equipped with both variants of the EasyTeach Function – by button or by wire – which allows for fine sensitivity adjustment for each application. Level detection is possible in containers, tube systems or pipelines, and can also protect pumps against running dry.
The stainless steel housing design complies with EHEDG requirements and Rechner supplies a range of adaptor and process connections that conform to FDA standards to ensure hygienic installation, easy cleaning and sterilisation. Electronic circuits, PLCs, relays or contactors can be activated directly by capacitive sensors.
