The MK range of sensors from ifm electronic is designed for use in pneumatic cylinders. They drop into T-slots with a close fit allowing positioning before being fastened with no specialised tools required.
The sensor is characterised by its universal fitting and will fit T-slots, as well as others through the use of an adaptor. It is available as a DC PNP device or in a NPN version, complemented by two-wire and three-wire reed variants, all of which feature an LED.
Conforming to the industry standard, the three-pin M8 connector is compatible with the wide range of mating connectors from ifm’s EVC series. These IP67 rated units offer a reason to standardise on one kind of sensor for all pneumatic requirements.
