Rockwell Automation offers signalling solutions for Ex-rated applications with the 855X line of Allen-Bradley hazardous location products. Providing the latest in electronic circuit design and reliability, the range includes the XH alarm horn sounders, XB xenon strobe beacons, XL loudspeakers, and XC combined horn sounder and strobe beacon units.
Based on the Allen-Bradley general-purpose industrial electronic alarms pedigree, the products are constructed from lightweight, corrosion-free glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) and impact-resistant acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). This makes it ideal for wet and harsh industrial environments found offshore and onshore in the oil and gas industry. The range is also suitable for applications in the food, paper, mining and grain industries.
All devices are easy to install with fully-adjustable (180 degree) mounting brackets, at 18-degree increments. Electronic horns provide extremely low power consumption and long operating life. The range is also compatible with Rockwell Automation PLCs and other automation control systems.
