Moxa’s MIRF software package is a full-stack framework that helps customers develop multiple WAN routing applications on wireless computers. MIRF comes freely bundled with Moxa´s V2426-LX, V2422-LX and UC-8481-LX lines of wireless computers. By providing a comprehensive library of pre-coded subroutines, MIRF makes the development process easier, faster, and more adaptable, significantly cutting time to market for wireless routing applications.
In order to provide commercial grade multimedia services, system integrators need to develop more value-added software. Unfortunately, open programmable platforms for development may not be readily available. MIRF software is built on Moxa´s Rcore application layer. MIRF supports multiple heterogeneous WANs and inter-WAN handoffs. For example, it provides train and tram passengers with Wi-Fi convenience even when travelling across wide geographies. Thanks to QoS and traffic shaping bandwidth is easily optimised to preclude network bottlenecks. This way, stable, reliable and secure wireless connectivity is achieved.
Moreover, MIRF offers intelligent policy settings for configuring WAN preferences and pre-defined policies for large bandwidth, best signal, or lowest cost. MIRF´s full stack, open framework based on an MVC architectural pattern guarantees flexibility and ease of integration. It comes ready-to-run, with a full library of software and component templates and easily leverages open source software packages. It also helps to bundle customer applications easily and is highly adaptable for both front and back end development.
