Integrated Air Solutions places energy efficiency at centre stage

August 2026 News

Integrated Air Solutions (IAS) will be exhibiting Tier 1 compressor brands, advanced technologies, premium air solutions and customer-focused services at Electra Mining Africa 2026, demonstrating the compressed air specialist’s commitment to driving energy efficiency and long-term operational value for customers and end users.

Alongside the ELGi range of air compressors, IAS also serves as the exclusive regional sales and service partner for Tier 1 OEM brands from leading manufacturers FS-Elliott and ABC Compressors. “We will showcase IAS’s comprehensive compressed air solutions portfolio on our established 180 m2 outdoor exhibit at NASREC’s water complex (Stand P18), together with GIGI Group sister companies Integrated Fire Technology and Integrated Pump Technology,” confirms Grant Robinson, managing director at IAS. “Visitors will be able to experience a full line-up of diesel portable machines and electrical units as well as a selection of accessories including filters, dryers, drain valves and receivers.” Robinson adds that throughout the show they will periodically run a large diesel portable machine from IAS’s rental fleet, giving visitors the opportunity to witness real-world performance firsthand.

Robinson notes that their participation at this year’s EMA is driven by several well-defined objectives. “In addition to growing brand awareness, our focus is to engage with current and prospective customers and share with them the full scope and value of our comprehensive offering and expert capabilities, underscoring our role as a trusted partner in high-performance compressed air systems and customer-centric solutions. Taking front and centre will be our key theme, ‘Energy Efficiency’, which directly correlates with low total cost of ownership (TCO), an essential driver of customers’ long-term business sustainability.”

New technologies to drive efficiency

Building on this theme, IAS will also highlight two new technologies designed to drive efficiency even further: efficiency-boosting permanent magnet motors coupled to variable frequency drives (VFDs) and Demand=Match technology, which delivers improved efficiency on fixed-speed units.

Both innovations reinforce ELGi’s brand promise of reducing TCO. With a heritage spanning more than 60 years of engineering excellence, ELGi has built a proud legacy as one of the world’s most trusted air compressor manufacturers. Globally, the brand is synonymous with superior energy efficiency, premium performance, proven reliability and customer value. ELGi’s advanced air ends and IE3/IE4 motors directly contribute to lowering power consumption, reducing energy costs and driving measurable savings. ELGi compressors are also engineered with premium components to deliver optimal performance, ensuring maximum uptime and longevity even in the most demanding conditions.

ELGi compressors feature a compact footprint, making installation easier, while integrated intelligent controls guarantee stable pressure and clean air delivery, driving consistent performance. IoT-ready connectivity allows seamless remote monitoring and analytics for more efficient management and optimised operations. Low noise and vibration also ensure quieter operation, creating a safer and more comfortable working environment. ELGi champions cleaner responsibility with 100% oil-free air solutions, energy-efficient performance and a commitment to sustainability for both customers and the environment.

Easy maintenance is built into ELGi’s design, ensuring quick service and reliability. Lower maintenance requirements, long service intervals and straightforward serviceability, combined with IAS’s access to ELGi’s global support pool, mean higher uptime and productivity, boosted production and reduced costs, all backed by genuine OEM parts and after-sales support from trained IAS specialists.

IAS will also spotlight its expert service capability, defined by reliable, efficient, responsive and customer-focused support delivered by a team of dedicated specialists, further amplifying the value of the company’s premium compressed air solutions.

“EMA creates the perfect environment for IAS to reinforce our role as a single-source, end-to-end provider of quality compressed air solutions, combining premium products, expert service and after-market support as well as flexible rental options with a commitment to building lasting customer partnerships and delivering value well beyond the exhibition,” concludes Robinson.
