The SAIMC Johannesburg Branch held its Annual General Meeting on 14 January 2026 at the Bryanston Sports Club. During the meeting, Cheryl Hird presented the 2025 financial report, and Ann de Beer delivered the branch manager’s report, highlighting the key activities and achievements of the past year.
The 2026 Committee was nominated and approved as follows:

The branch manager challenged all attendees/members to assist in broadening the branch’s reach by encouraging greater participation in the monthly, technology-focused events.

• The year end function is scheduled to be held 6 November 2026.
Beyond the scheduled events already planned, the branch has also announced two special events for the upcoming year. The first is a golf day, which is set to take place in May 2026. The second is an event specifically for ladies, scheduled for August 2026. Please note that the exact dates for both events are yet to be confirmed and will be announced at a later time.
The branch manager welcomed all newcomers to the committee and wished them well on their journey going forward.
