Accurate and stable control
Freeman explains that the SpaceLogic range of valves and actuators is designed to optimise HVAC system performance ensuring energy efficiency and reducing operational costs. Additionally, the characterised equal percentage models provide accurate and stable control making them ideal for various applications. “The low-clearance actuator is suitable for confined spaces, making installation easier and more flexible, while the heavy-duty design with wrench flats prevents end connections from rounding and ensures a secure fit,” he says.
The valves and actuators are designed to be interchangeable and easily configured in the field, allowing for future upgrades and customisation. The SpaceLogic range is suitable for hot or chilled water and solutions of up to 60% glycol, making them ideal for variable air volume (VAV) re-heat, fan-coil and unit ventilator applications.”
Precise control
Freeman adds that the more economically priced EasyLogic range features a new generation of characterised control valves with a V-shaped ball core design that provides a perfect equal percentage flow curve. Coupled with high-precision valve actuators, the EasyLogic control ball valves ensure precise control and energy efficiency in various applications.
“These products are designed to address operational inefficiencies and improve process safety making them ideal for industries such as oil and gas, minerals and mining, and food and beverage,” adds Freeman. He notes that the EasyLogic range is designed for easy installation and maintenance, reducing downtime and operational costs. It is suitable for a wide range of applications including re-heat on VAV boxes, fan coil units, hot and chilled water coils in air handling units and unit ventilators.
With their innovative designs and versatile applications these products reflect Schneider Electric’s commitment to sustainability and excellence in energy management. By leveraging the advanced capabilities of the SpaceLogic and EasyLogic ranges, businesses can achieve superior comfort, reduced operational costs and a greener future.
