The Johannesburg SAIMC Branch held its annual year-end function at Northcliff Country Club on 13 October. The evening was well attended by member companies and the media. A special thank you goes to all those who spent a fun-filled evening fighting off the flying ants and enjoying the lawn bowls.
Between the flying ants, beverages and laughter, a stack of fun was had. Amongst those who attended, some showed natural talents that would make many an ‘old bowler’ shake in their boots.
From the feedback received, it looks like many people will be taking up the sport of ‘old man’s marbles’. They say that a bowling club is a place to enjoy yourself if you have a bowling problem. Thank you to the whole team at Northcliff Country Club for hosting us and making the evening such a success.
Thank you to the catering team, Adele and Juan from aDeli, who prepared a stunning and very tasty spit braai for us. The food was exceptional. Thank you to Johan and Ina Martens for attending our function. Your continued support is appreciated.
A big thank you also goes to Cheryl and Ann for all the organisation and planning for the event; and thank you to Sagal for the invitations and ads.
The SAIMC Johannesburg Branch committee would like to wish you all a peaceful and prosperous festive season and look forward to a successful and active new year.
