The Siemens Industry Automation Division will have a number of products on exhibition, including:
Vibrating level switches for liquid applications
Sitrans LVL100 and LVL200 are two new vibrating liquid level switches for high/low demand level alarms and pump protection for liquid applications. The compact switches from Siemens are reliable, easy to use, and are unaffected by changing conditions such as conductivity, dielectric, vapours or bubbles. Sitrans LVL100 and LVL200 can be connected to any alarm system and are typically used in storage or processing applications.
The LVS 100 vibrating fork design ensures the sensing tines are kept clean for reduced maintenance
Sitrans F M MAG 8000/MAG 8000CT
The battery-operated Sitrans F M MAG 8000/MAG 8000CT is a solution that gives users the flexibility to install a reliable water meter virtually anywhere without sacrificing accuracy or performance. No mains power is required. The battery water meter complies with the MID and OIML R49 water meter standards and is specially engineered for standalone water applications such as abstraction, distribution network, revenue metering and irrigation.

Sitrans SL
Sitrans SL is a diode laser gas analyser with a measuring principle based on the specific light absorption of different gas components. Sitrans SL is suitable for fast and non-contact measurement of gas concentrations in process or flue gases. The sensors (transmitter and receiver) are meant to be mounted directly on the process with no need of sampling systems. The hardware for processing the measurement signal into a concentration value as well as monitoring, control and serving of the communication means are also integrated into these two main modules. The sensors are designed for operation under harsh environmental conditions.

Ultrasonic transducer for corrosive atmospheres
Siemens has added a PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) nose cone as an option to the non-contacting ST-H ultrasonic level transducer for liquids. This new material type improves the chemical compatibility of the ST-H transducer, offering more options for wet well, chemical storage, and process vessel applications.
LVS 100
Siemens Industry Automation Division has added the Sitrans LVS100 to its line of vibrating point level switches for high, low, or demand levels of dry bulk solids in bins, silos, or hoppers. The new device detects the presence of material with bulk densities starting at 60 grams/litre in mining, food, plastics, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
