Process Expo 2009 preview: Introduction and overview
May 2009
News
It is with great excitement that we invite you to join us at Process Expo 2009 on 19, 20 and 21 May at JHB Expo Centre (Nasrec) – the largest and most comprehensive process show ever!
The Process Automation, Instrumentation & Control 2009 Expo is set to be the industry event of the year – dedicated to those employed in this fast-moving field, covering the full spectrum of products, services and cutting-edge solutions available. The impressive list of exhibitors incorporates a diverse range of international representation as well as local vendors, including a number of our own ‘Proudly South African’ manufacturers.
Whilst launching, planning and organising the Process Expo 2009 in the midst of a challenging economic situation (when marketing expenditure and more specifically exhibition costs are often some of the first to leave the building) vendors and suppliers to the control and instrumentation industry were even more determined to make the expo happen in a big way – the result – a show bigger and better than ever before, and this year’s visitors will experience a greater variety of products, services and cutting-edge solutions. With a strong emphasis on cost-efficiency, the show was designed to accommodate any budget, however limited or lavish.
The event promises as always to be informative, educational and enjoyable, staged at the popular and convenient Expo Centre, Hall 5, Nasrec, Johannesburg. The venue is situated in close proximity to major routes, with ample secure parking available.
With a strong emphasis on skills development, education and training this year, look out for all the activities in the press and our website offered by various exhibitors in-and-around our latest initiative – the ‘Training & Skills Development Village’, complete with the Training Academy Auditorium powered by Endress+Hauser, offering a number of essential and interesting training courses across the three show days, as well as our traditional visitor restaurant area newly revamped as the ‘Campus Cafeteria’.
As the Process Expo only takes place every alternate year, we urge you to do all you can to visit the event and also encourage your colleagues to see for themselves the very real value that flows from an ever-improving understanding of this sector’s challenging needs.
Please register on-line at www.process-expo.co.za, and gain access to the expo at no charge via our express registration counters on any of the show days.
We look forward to welcoming you!
