Foxboro's in-line ingredient blender application solution provides fast accurate blending through a combination of features. First, the integrated error calculation of each component flow ensures that the exact amount of each component is blended in, while simultaneously controlling the overall blend. Second, pacing control keeps component delivery ratios accurate, even if instantaneous flowrates vary. Third, the final product trim feature allows the controller to automatically adjust the component ratios based on qualitative measurement of the blended product such as viscosity.
The I/A series in-line ingredient blender application solution provides such features as a programmed start-up flow ramp-up, shutdown flow ramp-down, pacing control, final product trim control and deviation memory control, making it ideal for a variety of food and pharmaceutical blending scenarios including short blend or small batch lot applications.
