Internationally accredited valves from GSR Valve Technology now available ex-stock and with full local support in South Africa. The company has chosen to invest in full branches in the Cape, Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg regions. This move is seen as a vote of confidence in the local economy.
GSR has been developing, designing and manufacturing valve solutions for all industrial applications since 1971. With more than 2000 special designs to choose from, it is confident that it has the valves needed for most applications in South Africa.
GSR Valves are a world leader in the food and beverage industry, gas transfer, high-temperature and high-pressure installations, the petrochemical sector, pharmaceutical manufacturing and general-purpose uses. GSR, which manufactures its own valves, is certified and approved to DIN EN ISO 9001 standard. It can provide many other certificates, such as PTB-certificates, on request. GSR Valves, through Atelier, can also supply approvals according to TÜV, GL, China Classification Society, F&D Administration USA, Russian shipbuilding registration and many more.
The GSR range includes direct acting solenoid valves; pilot operated solenoid valves; force pilot operated valves; pressure (externally) controlled valves and motorised valves. In addition to meeting international quality standards, the company believes that its valves are competitively priced, GSR decided to open branches in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth because it was the most cost-effective way to guarantee full support to its end users in southern Africa.
These branches carry a wide range of valves and components, ensuring quick deliveries. Specialised valves can either be sourced directly ex-stock from the warehouse in Johannesburg within a week, or brought in from Germany in three to four weeks. This delivery time is believed to be setting new standards for the industry. For the customers, it means that downtime is kept to a minimum.
A highly innovative company, GSR takes pride in being able to find solutions to the most complex challenges. Atelier has access to the GSR design team in Germany when needed for custom applications. The mission for GSR Valve Technology is to be able to help customers solve any valve problem as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.
