Protective helmets and shields

February 2003 Maintenance, Test & Measurement, Calibration

Surge Technology is offering Deltec's range of protective helmets and shields for use in nominal voltages up to 1000 V. The protective helmets are designed in accordance with EN 397 and are manufactured in a special polyethylene. They are adjustable to fit head sizes from 520 to 630 mm diameter and are available in yellow, white, orange, blue and red.

Designed to protect against the effects of arcing faults, protective shields are offered to mount on all protective helmets with or without a drip flap. Meeting EN 166 requirements, they have a 1,5 mm wall thickness and a tarnish-free inside.
