Reer's Argolux N-AP photoelectric automation barriers are designed for control, counting and automation purposes and are able to operate in heights from 230 to 1435 mm with a <10 ms response time.
Consisting of an emitter and receiver, the system meets IP65 protection, has a 12 m effective scanning range and a 35 mm resolution. Correct alignment and fault diagnosis is indicated via LEDs, and optional deflector mirrors provide all-round perimeter protection.
With a simple and quick installation, the system operates on 12 to 24 V d.c. ±10%, 100 mA maximum, has a selectable light-on PNP or NPN opto-insulated static output, and is protected against short circuits.
Typical applications include checking for the presence of people or vehicles between automated doors, counting fallen or ejected objects, checking presence or clearance limits of vehicles in automated parking lots and surveillance of prohibited areas.
