Surge arresters for sensitive instrumentation

Surge Technology's BLITZductor LZC surge arresters are designed for protecting sensitive instrumentation such as flow meters and level sensors against overvoltages in hazardous installations.
The device is housed in a stainless steel tube and is inserted as part of the installation, requiring no special enclosure. The LZC has M20 pipe threads, and two earth wires bonded to the external casing to ensure proper earthing. Operating with a nominal voltage of 24 V d.c. the LZC handles a maximum current of 0,6 A. Its stainless steel housing meets DIN 50049-3.1.A requirements and is SABS EX and IS approved.
As with other products from Surge Technology, the LZC surge arrester is guaranteed unconditionally for a period of 10 years.
