The Erbic range of Profibus IDC switch connectors now includes the new MAX die cast metal version - suitable for use in applications such as high relative humidity and harsh environments - eminently suitable where high levels of (EMI) are present.
The axial cable inlets/outlets allow simple and effective timesaving termination without the use of special tools. The recessed low profile switch protects against accidental on/off termination operation for flexible Profibus systems. Problem free extension of Profibus networks is simple, the switch is readily changed from Termination mode (on) to Node mode (off).
During fault diagnosis the respective component/s may be disconnected from the bus and the replacement installed and connected without affecting system operation.
