The Unitrans transmitter from Wika is now available with a maximum turn down of 1:20. This together with its multivariable display makes for a versatile instrument. The display can be rotated a full 360° degrees, in 90° steps. The screen can simultaneously display a bar graph as well as a trend indication.
Further flexibility is demonstrated by the mechanics, with the case being able to be adjusted in the vertical and lateral directions, as well as being able to rotate around its own axis. The intuitive menu system allows the device to be set up for different languages, units, etc.
Linearity deviations are below 0,2 % of the span and the Unitrans is available for measuring ranges 0 to 40 kPa up to 0 to 100 MPa - as well as compound ranges - and the turn down facility makes it easy to adapt to specific ranges. A 4 to 20 mA, two-wire output is provided and optional extras, such as HART protocol, Profibus PA and IS approval in accordance with ATEX 100a are also available.
