KSR Kubler's magnetic level gauges make it possible to measure the level of aggressive, combustible, viscous, toxic, hot and agitated liquids with high precision and versatility. Designed and manufactured to ISO 9001 standards, this instrument can be utilised with great success under the harshest operating conditions. The modularity of its construction opens up a range of application possibilities, from a simple level indicator to a fieldbus compatible level controller with digital signal outputs. All Kubler gauges can be field upgraded from pure indication, to level switching, to signal re-transmission for efficient level control.
To facilitate signal transmission from a Kubler level gauge, various options are available:
* Resistance reed chain, analog 4 to 20 mA, HART, Honeywell DE, Foundation Fieldbus and Profibus DP.
* Magnetostrictive sensor with analog 4 to 20 mA output, type Magnodul.
* Magnetostrictive sensor with CAN-BUS, Interbus-S, Profibus DP and MOD-BUS, type Micropulse.
Various switching options are also available for temperatures up to 400°C. Special Kübler designs include integral steam jackets and 'flashing liquid service'. Materials used in construction can be one or more of: stainless steel, hastelloy (C, B), titanium, monel 400, PTFE, PP and PVC. Process parameters may be as high as 40 MPa, 400°C and SG down to 350 kg/m3.
