A range of flanged ball valves is available locally that operate in high temperatures, under high pressures and in corrosive environments. Due to their robust design, the valves are supplied with a 4-year guarantee when used for steam and water applications.
Conforming to ISO 9001 requirements, Valvtechnologies' valves have a bubble-tight shut-off to ANSI FCI 70-2 which is achieved with an integral downstream seat which is completely protected from the flow path. Seat testing is 100% on all valves.
Rocket applied metallic hard coatings make the valves highly resistant to corrosion and abrasion, even in temperatures up to 965°C. Each valve is serialised and has identity marks on all pressure containing parts, and material certificates and test results are maintained.
A variety of pneumatic double acting and spring return types, electric motors or hydraulic actuators and gear operators are available, all sized, mounted and tested to meet the required specifications.
Various options are available including bi-directional sealing, control trims, and special end connections to allow for socket and butt weld ends, hard coatings, various materials of construction and pressure classes from 150# up to 4500#. If required, wafer styles and sizes larger than 400 mm can also be supplied. Typical applications include boiler blowdown, feedwater drains, exhaust gases, sootblowers and superheater drains - Valvtechnologies is represented locally by Mitech.
