Range of capacitors for industrial applications

Eurofarad's industrial capacitors range includes:

* Metallised film capacitors for AC and pulse applications - self healing (NF C83151 and NF C83153) is a fundamental property of these capacitors.

* Film foil capacitors, especially recommended for high voltage/current and or power applications.

* Power electronics capacitors, for DC filtering and de-coupling.

* AC-industrial mains - 50/60 Hz.

* Commutation - converters/inverters.

* Energy storage - welders/lasers.

* Electrolytic capacitors for filtering, energy storage, switching power supplies and motor starting - comply with ISO9002/EN29002.

Each of which have distinct and different 'best use' applications properties.

The Eurofarad Industrial Capacitor catalogue (available on request) includes selection characteristics. Most important, as the service life of capacitors may be considerably reduced if they are used in inappropriate working conditions, such as exceeded rate performance limits, accidental overvoltage, badly controlled harmonic frequencies, poor cooling conditions, etc.
