Pre-wired panel meter housing kit

Digital Process Measurement has come up with a clever design for the ACC06 pre-wired panel meter housing kit for wall mounting that looks neat and eliminates inherent labour intensive hard wiring.

Pierre Stasio, DPM's sales manager, says that typically, to install a panel meter with mounting brackets and hard wiring could take up to a day. "Suitable for a 96 x 48 indicator, the IP66 polycarbonate weatherproof housing is imported from a reputable German manufacturer. DPM has designed the printed circuit board back plane with sockets to mate with a standard panel meter. The PCB tracks take the connectors down to the screw terminal rails which are marked with the same connector numbers that appear on the back of the instrument. The kit is supplied complete with chassis plate and standoff pillars and two stainless steel compression glands with space for more to be fitted if required. The ACC06 has an in-line fuse for the power supply connection." All European EMC and low voltage directives are met and a three-year guarantee is standard.
