IFM Electronic has introduced the SCG hygienic flow monitor for use in the food, brewing and medical industries. Of particular interest is that the hygienic seal is already welded onto the flow monitor making the unit easy to install.
The stainless steel monitor has a 30 mm/s to 3 m/s range with a 3 000 kPa pressure rating. It operates in a temperature medium from -25 to +95°C and meets IP67 requirements.
The SCG has a 20–36 V d.c. operating voltage, a 400 mA load current and a 1–10 s response time.
