Spescom MeasureGraph (SMG) has launched the AVO International range of products into its portfolio of test solutions. AVO's product range, synonymous with Ohm Law, focuses on current, voltage and resistance test and measurement systems. Represented in South Africa for 75 years, the SMG relationship era opens up new opportunities for both players in the marketplace.
Bringing reliability to Amps Volts Ohms has resulted in worldwide representation for the AVO brand names of Megger, Foster, Multi-Amp, Biddle and AVO. AVO International is ISO 9001 certified and its manufacturing facilities in Dover (UK), Dallas and Philadelphia (USA) are "A-class" production facilities, its products comply with many international standards like the European CE mark, IEC 1010 etc.
To keep abreast with the modern trend of multifunction test equipment, AVO has developed and launched a range of 'Combinations' equipment aimed at the electrical contractor and electrical test market. Combining insulation test and multimeter functions in one package (BMM2500) and the combination of a loop tester and earth leakage breaker tester in another (LCB2500), offers the end user more testing capability per instrument. Top of the range is the full multifunction meter (CM500) which covers all the functions of the two units in one. AVO International have also recently released the following equipment onto the market:
Megger E2 time domain reflectometers, structured cabling testers (cable length meters, coaxial and twisted pair cable testers).
AVO International covers a range of electrical test equipment ranging from 0,01 mA resolution clamp-meters to 30 kA breaker test sets, 0,01 mW resolution ohmmeters to 400 kV supplies, oil test sets, cable fault locators, relay test sets, earth testers, battery testers, transformer testers and more.
