Moeller's new CI-K small enclosures not only offer devices protection from environmental influences such as dust, moisture, chemicals and impact, they also significantly reduce installation costs.
A feature of these enclosures is flexible push-through cable-entry membranes. The cable is simply pushed straight through the elastomer membrane, without the need for any tools, and it encloses the cable tightly to a degree of protection IP65.
The same degree of protection is provided by the enclosure seal on the glassfibre-reinforced polycarbonate enclosure, with a cover that can be tailor-made to suit individual customer applications.
Sealing lugs can be used to protect against unauthorised opening and a laser inscription service puts text directly onto the enclosure, saving the need for additional labels.
CI-K enclosures are supplied complete with a mounting rail or mounting plate. Push-through grommets are used for larger enclosures and while cable glands are not necessary with the push-through membrane, they can be provided for strain relief.
A total of five types in nine different sizes, ranging from 160 x 100 x 100 mm to 280 x 200 160 mm, are standard.
