Baumer Electric says that its new Magres absolute encoder range harnesses a magnetic scanning process that has clear price advantages for the user. The new encoder is suitable for dynamic applications reaching 6000 rpm.
The compact housing has a diameter of 42 mm and is fitted with a standard synchroflange. Additional features include programmability for both zero reference and sense of direction. Baumer is marketed and supported in southern Africa by Temperature Controls.
